Switch-adapted Megasaurus Dino

This Megasaurus dino has been adapted to be accessible for users of all abilities with a dual-switch system. The 2.5-foot-tall dinosaur toy inflates with a constant stream of air by pressing a capability switch once. Another press of the same switch activates dino sounds. The fan blower stays on and keeps the dino inflated until a second switch is pressed to deflate and turn off fan.

The dino can be manually removed from the 18-inch-long vehicle. The dino has small wheels on bottom and can be manually rolled on a smooth surface. Includes one pup figure that clips securely into the vehicle cockpit or on top of the dinosaur, supporting imaginative storytelling and pretend play.

This awesome toy is also perfect for inclusive peer play. The sides of the vehicle can be manually lowered by pressing the light bar, then the switch-user can press a capability switch to activate sounds and inflation. 

Also, by separating the actions into two distinct switches with the dual switch system, it allows the user to understand a higher level of cognitive processing. This teaches the user that they have complete, active control over both the beginning and the end of an activity, rather than just waiting for a toy's internal timer to run out. Using two switches with two entirely different logical results can be a direct stepping stone to more complex technology.

After play simply deflate dino, put switch on toy in OFF position, and store in truck ready for the next play session. To deflate, press appropriate switch to turn off and place the dinosaur back in the vehicle then close side panels, then fold neatly inside the vehicle for compact storage.
